those chairs crack me up because they are there year after year. This trip, they even changed configurations a few times.My guess is a quirky landowner who wants people to wonder (and blog) about his strangeness.
Maybe it's their way of saying that there is nobody judging anyone here, since the chairs reserved for "judges" are empty.
